I just moved back to Albuquerque a couple months ago after spending 2 years as a nanny to two young children in Los Angeles as well as an ocasional sitter for two other children. I now work as an assistant teacher in the twos room at a daycare/preschool. I have always enjoyed taking care of kids and love their simplicity and directness. I believe parents should be able to leave their children with someone who will make them feel loved and encourage independence at the same time, and someone who respects the values and guidance methods of the parents. I am definitely that person and your kids will be in good hands. I am available most weekends so if you need some time out to run errands or have a night out, I'd be happy to help you out. Price is negotiable, if you are low on money I am sure we can work something out because EVERY parent deserves a little time off!
