Starting at around ten years old, I became a 'mommy's-helper' for my parents friends who could use some help taking care of multiple kids from infants to seven or eight years of age. From around the age of thirteen, I began babysitting every now and then for family friends. At the same time I volunteered for my Sunday School as a teacher's helper for a kindergarten class. When I was fifteen I began babysitting a few times a week. For about the period of a year I regularly babysat for a family that lived up the street from me at least once a week. I have cared for up to three children at a time from infants to thirteen year olds. I've been working at Thinker Toys now for two years.
